An intensive 5 day training sesssion ending in a 46 hour simulation exercise was completed successfully. The training covered all aspects of deployment from good practice in map design and data management through to safety in the field and communications protocols. The exercise included  dealing with very stern looking border patrol's, setting up a On Site Operations Centre (OSOC) in a woodsmans hut with no electricity or running water and intensive mapping to aid a simulated earthquake response.

The exercise finished off with an evacuation of the OSOC including packing up all equipment with 30 mins notice and evacuation under 'UN Guard' before the ENDEX debrief and some well earnt Pizza's.
